CARROS is an advanced and multi-purpose theme for Opencart. Please read this guide thoroughly to get started with CARROS. This documentation is strictly theme-related and does not cover general Opencart functionality. You need to be familiar with the Opencart platform in order to get the most out of this theme. For any general Opencart info please refer to their official documentation and forum.
Extract the archive you downloaded from Themeforest and locate the Upload folder. Upload the 4 folders found inside (admin, catalog, image, system) to your OpenCart root installation and merge them with the existing ones.
Access your Opencart Admin and go to Extensions > Modifications and click on the blue Refresh button (top right corner).
Go to Extensions > Extensions, choose Theme from the Choose the extension type selector, click Edit button for Carros Store Theme and choose Enable Status, after it click Save button.
Go to System > Setting and Choose Carros Store Theme for your store. After it press Save button.
To get into the theme settings go to “Extensions > Extensions” then select “Theme” in dropdown menu and press “edit” in front of Carros Store Theme.
Options:
On this page you can set the following options
Header style
Theme Style
Entry descriptions - brief shop description that will be shown in the header of the main page.
Header Image for Home page - image that will be shown in the header of the main page
Header Image for non Home pages - image that will be shown in the header on all pages except the main page and the blog pages.
Header Image for Blog pages - image that will be shown on the blog pages
Google API key - required to display google map on “Contacts us” page. Also you need to specify Geocode in the shop settings - “System > Settings > Store”
Blog:
Amount of displayed blog posts in the blog category page
Products:
Amount of products to be shown on the shop category pages (we recommend you to keep the default value)
Amout of text characters to be shown in the product descriptions. It’s applicable to “list” view mode (we recommend you to keep the default value)
Images:
Image size of the products that are shown in the different sections of the shop. (we recommend you to keep the default value)
Install Carros Demo Base:
To install demo settings of the shop press “install” button and wait few seconds untill “Sucess, demo base installed” will appear. Don’t press “save” button when installing demo settings.
You can set “top menu” option available in each “Catalog > Information” page. Once option is active the link on this page will be displayed in the main menu.
All additional extensions are named with “Netgon” prefix.
If no one footer module was activated than default OpenCart footer will not be displayed
Netgon "About us" footer - The module allows to output contact and text information to the footer.
To setup the module you need to specify:

Module allows to output shop working hours to the footer.
To setup the module you need to specify:
Netgon "Subscribe" footer - Module allows to output subscribe mail form to the footer
After the successful subscription a new user account will be created. All account credentials will be sent to the user specified e-mail

Netgon "Social" footer - Module allows to output icon links to the social profiles. Also you can have instagram feed there

Module allows to display the selected products under the configurable tab groups.
To setup the module you need to specify:

Add necessary amount of tabs (filters)
For each tab (filter) you need to specify
Filter Name
Products - The products to be displayed in the tab.
Limit - adjust the amount of displayed products there
Sort - Appearance order
Module allows to display the products that are filtered by the selected criteria.

To setup the module you need to specify:
Enable / disable selected criteria options and specify the appearance order.
No additional setup is required.
Module visual appearance example:
If no filter is applied to the selected category, then it will not be displayed in the module. Once a parameter is selected there will be a tooltip with the amount of the products met to the selected criteria in the category.
In this template you can specify car parts compatibilities.
You can create car models list in “Catalog > Cars models”
You can add necessary car models in “Catalog > Cars models”
To add a new car brand press “add” button
The list below represents all available car brands. To specify car models of the selected brand click on the “edit” button.
To add car models:
Specify a model name
Specify a year of manufacture start
Specify a year of manufacture end. You can leave the value blank in case the car model is manufacturing nowadays.
To specify different engine modifications press “edit” button.

Press “add” button
To specify product compatibility options go to “Catalog > Products” then choose a product to edit and open “Car Parts Filter” tab.
Specify compatible brand, model and car engine there.
If only brand is specified than the product will be compatible with all cars of this brand.
If only brand and model is specified than the product will be compatible with all those modles.
If no compatibility options is specified than the product is compatible with all cars.
After specifying the compatibility list, a new option will be available on the product options - “Compatibility”
To display filter form go to “Extensions > Modules” select “Netgon Car Parts Filter” and activate it. After that you can define what pages should display the filter in “Design Layouts” setting.
If “Netgon car parts filter” module is not displayed on the categories pages then nothing will happen after module activation. Products appearance will be filtered depending on its data set.
If “Netgon car parts filter” module is displayed on the categories pages, then the products appearance will be updated after the filter activation. Products appearance will be filtered depending on its data set.
To setup the blog go to “Extension > Extensions” and install Blog module (if it wasn’t already installed you will see “install” button in front of the module)
Here is an example on how “Blog” module will be displayed in the right column of the site.
After making the basic setup, please check your user permissions on the “Blog” module in “System > Users > Users Group”. Administrator group should have permissions to edit “blog/category”, “blog/comment”, “blog/post”. To apply permission settings you need to logout from your admin account after the setup.
If everything is done correct then a new option “Blog” will be displayed in the admin sidebar. There you can operate on the blog posts and comments.

On the image tab you can specify:
Image - image that will be displayed in the blog category
Additional Images - images that will be displayed in the article
Blog>Coment Here you can administer blog post comments.
